LEAVE A LEGACY
A planned gift to the Valley of the Moon Music Festival is a meaningful way to ensure that the music, artists, and experiences you value today continue to inspire future generations.
By including VMMF in your estate plans, you help sustain exceptional chamber music on historical instruments, support emerging artists, and strengthen the Festival’s educational and community programs for years to come.
Legacy gifts of any size make a lasting difference and reflect a deep commitment to the future of music in our community.
CREATING A PLANNED GIFT
There are several simple ways to include VMMF in your long-term plans:
Bequest in your will or trust
You may designate a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder of your estate to VMMF. You can also direct your gift toward general support or a specific area of interest.
Retirement accounts
You may name VMMF as a full or partial beneficiary of an IRA, 401(k), or other retirement plan assets.
Life insurance policies
A current or unused policy can be transformed into a meaningful future gift by naming VMMF as a beneficiary.
Donor-advised funds and other assets
You may also recommend a future gift through a donor-advised fund or other planned giving vehicle.
We recommend speaking with your financial advisor, tax professional, or attorney to determine the planned giving approach that best aligns with your personal and financial goals.
THE IMPACT OF YOUR LEGACY
Planned gifts provide essential long-term support for VMMF’s artistic vision. These contributions help ensure the Festival can continue presenting world-class musicians, expanding educational initiatives, and offering meaningful community engagement well into the future.
Because these gifts are often realized in the future, they provide a vital foundation for stability, sustainability, and artistic growth.
RECOGNITION
Those who include VMMF in their estate plans are invited to join our Legacy Society recognizing individuals who have chosen to support the Festival’s future in this extraordinary way.
Members may be acknowledged (if they choose) on the VMMF website and in select Festival materials, and are invited to special events and gatherings with artists and Festival leadership.
