The pastoral texts of Schubert’s “Shepherd on the Rock” and Kreutzer’s “The Mill Wheel” set the tone of this season’s theme in two sublime works for clarinet and voice. This program includes “Sunset” by 20th-century American composer Florence Price, as well as a Haydn Trio, and concludes with von Weber’s virtuosic Clarinet Quintet.
